«الأرصاد» تحذر: أمطار رعدية على جنوب ووسط المملكة – أخبار السعودية
توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد اليوم (الأحد)، استمرار فرصة هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة قد تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، وتشمل مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، الرياض، الشرقية، وتمتد إلى أجزاء من نجران، بينما تكون خفيفة على أجزاء من المدينة المنورة والقصيم. كما تتأثر بعض المناطق برياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، خاصة أجزاء من الحدود الشمالية، الجوف، والسواحل الشمالية لتبوك، ولا يُستبعد تكوّن الضباب خلال الليل والصباح الباكر في بعض هذه المناطق.
تشير التوقعات إلى أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 22–43 كم/ساعة، قد تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة، مع تكوّن سحب رعدية ممطرة في الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين، ويصل إلى مترين ونصف، بينما حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج، وقد تصبح مائجًا مع استمرار الأمطار الرعدية. أما على الخليج العربي، فالرياح جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية بسرعة 15–40 كم/ساعة، وقد تصل إلى 45 كم/ساعة، مع تكوّن سحب رعدية ممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر ونصف، يصل إلى مترين ونصف في بعض المناطق، وحالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج وقد تصبح مائجًا مع استمرار الأمطار.
توصي الجهات المختصة بالحذر من جريان السيول، وتوخي الحيطة أثناء القيادة في أوقات الأمطار الغزيرة والضباب، ومتابعة التحديثات اليومية عبر المصادر الرسمية.
The National Center of Meteorology predicted today (Sunday) that there will be a continued chance of moderate to heavy thunderstorms that may lead to flash floods, affecting the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, extending to parts of Najran. Meanwhile, light rain is expected in parts of Al-Madinah and Al-Qassim. Some areas will also be affected by active winds that stir up dust and sand, especially parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, and the northern coasts of Tabuk. Fog formation is not ruled out during the night and early morning in some of these areas.
Forecasts indicate that the surface winds on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 22–43 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h, with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the central and southern parts, and wave heights ranging from one to two meters, reaching two and a half meters. The sea condition will be light to moderate, and may become rough with the continuation of thunderstorms. As for the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be southeasterly to southerly at a speed of 15–40 km/h, possibly reaching 45 km/h, with the formation of thunderstorm clouds, and wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching two and a half meters in some areas. The sea condition will be light to moderate and may become rough with the continuation of rain.
The relevant authorities recommend caution regarding flash floods and to exercise caution while driving during heavy rain and fog, and to follow daily updates through official sources.
