رؤساء أركان السعودية وباكستان وتركيا: البدء فورًا بتنفيذ «اتفاقية مكة» – أخبار السعودية

عُقد في الرياض، اليوم، اجتماع لرئيس قوات الدفاع ورؤساء هيئات الأركان العامة للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية مكة للدفاع المشترك، بمشاركة المملكة، وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، والجمهورية التركية.

واستعرض رؤساء هيئات الأركان الوضع الأمني والتهديدات التي تواجه المملكة العربية السعودية، وأعربوا عن استنكارهم الشديد للهجمات التي استهدفت مدينة مكة المكرمة والبنية التحتية المدنية والاقتصادية للمملكة. كما أشادوا بيقظة واحترافية القوات المسلحة السعودية لضمان سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين وأمن المملكة.

كما بحث المشاركون سبل المضي قدمًا في تعزيز التعاون بين القوات المسلحة للدول الثلاث، وتطوير التعاون الاستخباراتي والتنسيق العسكري وتكامل القدرات، بما يسهم في تعزيز الردع والدفاع الجماعي. وأشاد المشاركون بالعلاقات الراسخة والثقة المتبادلة التي تجمع شعوب الدول الثلاث وقواتها المسلحة. وأكدوا أن اجتماعهم في الرياض يعكس متانة الشراكة الدفاعية فيما بينهم، وعزمهم المشترك على البدء الفوري لترجمة الالتزامات الواردة في اتفاقية مكة للدفاع المشترك إلى تعاون عسكري فعّال.

وأكد المشاركون بقوة التزامهم بالدفاع الجماعي، بما يجسد عزم الدول الثلاث على الدفاع عن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها.

A meeting was held today in Riyadh for the Chief of Defense Forces and the Chiefs of General Staff of the countries party to the Mecca Agreement for Joint Defense, with the participation of the Kingdom, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the Republic of Turkey.

The Chiefs of Staff reviewed the security situation and the threats facing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing their strong condemnation of the attacks targeting the holy city of Mecca and the Kingdom’s civil and economic infrastructure. They also praised the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi Armed Forces in ensuring the safety of citizens and residents and the security of the Kingdom.

The participants also discussed ways to move forward in enhancing cooperation between the armed forces of the three countries, developing intelligence cooperation, military coordination, and capability integration, contributing to strengthening deterrence and collective defense. The participants praised the established relationships and mutual trust that bind the peoples of the three countries and their armed forces. They affirmed that their meeting in Riyadh reflects the strength of the defense partnership among them and their shared determination to immediately translate the commitments outlined in the Mecca Agreement for Joint Defense into effective military cooperation.

The participants strongly affirmed their commitment to collective defense, embodying the determination of the three countries to defend the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
